Make Birthdays Better!

Parents can enjoy this unique, active birthday celebration together with their children without worrying about the food preparation, clean-up, or keeping the party guests entertained! 

Event hosts are provided access to the party room 30-minutes in advance of the party for set-up. Once guests arrive, they are provided skates and head out for 60 minutes of fun on the ice before proceeding to the party room for an hour of food and celebrating. The total time for each party equals 2 hours and 30 minutes. 

The Mount Prospect Ice Arena’s birthday party package includes ice skating for 25 (including 25 skate rentals) and party room access for up to 40 guests, all for $250. There is a $10 per person charge for additional skaters. Event hosts may choose how to designate the ice space: use the entire rink to play hockey or use half for hockey and half for ice skating. Appropriate equipment must be worn if participating in hockey. 

Food and beverage services are coordinated through and provided by the Nicholas Sportsplex’s in-house restaurant, Big Fish’s Icehouse, during standard operating hours.
